Monitor's evidence to parliamentary committees on its future role

  • On 10 February 2011, David Bennett (Monitor's Chair and Interim Chief Executive) and Sonia Brown (Monitor’s Chief Economist) gave evidence to the Health and Social Care Bill Committee, as part of the Committee stage of the Bill’s progress through the House of Commons. A copy of Monitor's written supplementary evidence is available to download.
  • David Bennett and Adrian Masters (Monitor's Director of Strategy) gave further oral evidence to the Health Select Committee - this time regarding commissioning - on 11 March 2011. Download our written memorandum to the Health Select Committee inquiry on Commissioning.
  • On 28 June 2011, David Bennett and Sonia Brown gave evidence to the Health and Social Care Bill Committee. Our written evidence to the Committee can be found here.
