Co-operation and Competition Panel recommendations

The Co-operation and Competition Panel (CCP) provides advice to Monitor in relation to cases under the Principles and Rules of Cooperation and Competition that involve NHS foundation trusts (the CCP also provides advice to the Secretary of State in relation to cases relating to other NHS organisations).*

For further information on the work of the CCP please refer to www.ccpanel.org.uk where a copy of its guidelines for accepting cases can also be found.

Below is a summary of the cases where the CCP has made a recommendation to Monitor and the action we have taken. A complete list of the cases that the CCP has undertaken can be found on the CCP’s website.

To view each section, use the drop down arrow next to the section heading. To print, the relevant section(s) must be open to view.

In addition to the cases below, the CCP accepted a number of Transforming Community Services merger cases under its prioritisation procedure. The CCP did not conduct a review of prioritised cases and did not issue any advice to Monitor. A list of the prioritised cases can be found on the CCP's here.
