The aim of this conference was to bring together Finance Directors, Medical Directors and Clinical Leads of hospital trusts to highlight the advantages and benefits of service line management, the challenges of implementation and the importance of collaborative working between departments.
The conference highlighted the impact both finance and clinical leaders can have on the successful delivery of SLM.
Speakers included both Finance and Medical Directors, who brought perspectives from their own experiences with service line management and Professor Sir Bruce Keogh, NHS Medical Director delivered the keynote address.
