Monitor/BCG Effective Governance Workshop - 2 May 2012

Monitor, in partnership with BCG, held the Effective Quality Governance workshop as part of the Patient Safety and Quality Workshop series for chairs and chief executives on 2 May 2012. The purpose of the workshop was to share first hand experiences and perspectives, from both the NHS and private sector, on the importance of ensuring robust quality governance systems are in place. 

The workshop was chaired by Stephen Thornton, Chief Executive, The Health Foundation, who ensured that delegates were given opportunity for discussion and debate. Workshop topics and speakers were:
