The Prudential Borrowing Code was published by Monitor in March 2005. It forms part of the framework for NHS foundation trusts to manage their capital structures, subject to their ability to service the resulting financial obligations. A summary of the proposed changes to the Prudential Borrowing Code was set out in the consultation document available on the link below, along with a summary of responses to the consultation.
