Monday 26 March 2007 Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre
On 26 March 2007, Monitor held a conference on Service Line Reporting, ‘Better Management, Better Performance’, at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre in Westminster.
The conference focused on using service line reporting (SLR) to integrate strong management and business planning into an NHS foundation trust setting. Presenters gave insights into their experiences of using SLR in the UK and internationally. Throughout the day discussion and interaction helped delegates to relate the experiences of UK pilot projects to their own organisation.
We also launched two Monitor publications on SLR: Getting the most out of managing service lines: using service-line reporting in the annual planning process and Getting the most out of service-line reporting: organisational change and incentive-based performance management. You can view these publications by clicking on their titles.
The event was attended by senior executives, (chief executives, medical directors, finance directors and clinical directors) working in NHS foundation trusts or in NHS trusts currently applying for foundation trust status.
